His audience was mostly teenagers so he targeted his programming to their musical interests at that time. The show was mostly pre-recorded and aired Thursday, April 7, 1960, on WKBH radio (La Crosse, Wis). |
Abstract | Lindy Shannon was a disc jockey, record store manager at Leitholds Music Store, local band promoter and agent as well as being a weekly music columnist. Shannon was active with area musicians from roughly the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s. Shannon worked with Roger Gilbeck under the agency name Lin-Beck. |
